Emma R. Vella
Assistant to Managing Director
Emma joined the Crown Cookware team in a full-time capacity soon after graduating from the University of Western Ontario in the spring of 2019. Emma studied Anthropology and International Development, where she acquired an in-depth understanding of global perspectives and overcoming global inequalities. Emma is an advocate for ethical business practices and accountability; thus, she is proud to be apart of a small, family-owned business that genuinely values integrity.
Emma has grown up with Crown Cookware as her father, David Vella, is founder and president and started teaching her the ropes of the company at a very young age. Emma remembers as a little girl, she enjoyed going to work with her father as she would love to use the photocopy machine and rubber stamps while pretending that she was a Crown employee. As Emma got older, she spent more time during summers and weekends helping her father by working in the plant’s packing products section and operating some machines as well as office administration work. Today, Emma is working as David’s executive assistant and is happy to call herself an official employee of Crown Cookware.
